Clandestino has landed!
The story...
In the 70's our ol'boy was based in New Guinea as an 18 year old pilot for MacAir. His flights soon became clandestine missions into remote mountain villages where the cargo was gold, silver...and coffee beans.
His passion second to flying, was to find the perfect  cup of coffee.

Forty years on and we're flying in premium grade Arabica beans from around the globe. Our beans are only grown at high altitude and make specialty grade.
We roast in small batches using a German engineered drum roaster. We find a combination of convection, conduction and radiant heating  produces a more pronounced flavour.
We prefer to deal with farmers direct rather than through fair trade cooperatives. Thus way we know the grower receives the premium and is incentivized to keep producing excellent grade coffee.

At Clandestino Roasters we don't just dark roast everything. All origins are different and we believe the degree of roast should be adjusted to suit the bean; thereby getting the best flavour out of each bean.
We offer a variety of brewing methods, some of which are more suited to different origins.

If you enjoy brewing coffee at home, all of our beans can be purchased as single origins or blends. Our bags have one way valves and are resealable.
We grind your beans to suit your brew method.
